After struggling with breastfeeding for over 8 months, I almost felt like a failure. I was in so much pain I just wanted to give up...I did so much research, visited multiple doctors, and even another lactation consultant. What else was I missing? There's no way any one else could tell me something I didn't already know. At least that's what I thought. I was visiting in the LA area and just had to try one last option before I gave up breast feeding for good. I did some quick research and contacted goldilacts, got contacted the same day I reached out to them, and Candice was absolutely amazing. The compassion you receive from these girls is just amazing! If you are in my position, trust me, you are not alone and the girls at goldilacts will lovingly confirm that with you. Candice immediately noticed what was wrong by taking just one look at my baby's latch and corrected it. Within 10 seconds, I'm not exaggerating, latch was corrected and breastfeeding immediately became the easiest thing in the world. I finally was able to peacefully feed my baby with zero stress or discomfort. Thank you guys so much for your help my baby and I will forever be thankful!!!! If you've reached every dead end with nursing your baby, PLEASE contact goldilacts!!!
Candice was recommended to me through a friend. I can't even begin to explain how much of a game changer it was working with Candice. I started off breastfeeding but my baby had reflux which made it very difficult. With all the other challenges that came with being a new mother I decided it was getting too difficult so I switched over to pumping and then giving him a bottle. I missed breastfeeding and found pumping was a whole other challenge in and of itself. It was so time consuming to pump and then give him a bottle. At this point I decided to reach out to Candice from GoldiLacts and get her advice on if there was hope for me to switch back to breastfeeding and if so what would be the easiest process to do so. We did an hour phone call and she asked all the right questions to get a full picture of what had happened on my breastfeeding journey thus far. I only needed one phone call session and I was able to transition back to breastfeeding within three days which I never expected. Candice helped give me the tools and confidence to switch back and gave me ideas on how to administer my sons medication without having to give him a bottle. She also made herself available by text for any questions and follow ups. So grateful for Candice she truly changed the course of my breastfeeding journey and I'm forever grateful.
