“…and to those who tried as long as they could.”

Maybe the stress and overwhelming anxiety of taking care of multiple children made breastfeeding too time consuming or created further tension. Maybe a medical condition contraindicated breastfeeding and you were forced to wean in order to protect your own health. Maybe the relationship with other family members became strained because of the time you were spending with the baby and in order to protect a wavering home environment you decided to wean in the best interest of your entire family unit.

ALL of these reasons, among many others, can be painful and cause many mixed emotions when breastfeeding comes to an end. We want you to know Mama, that we are here for you. We respect you. We hear you. We understand. And you ARE amazing.
